JILL BARBER

Bio
Jill Barber released her first album, A Note To Follow So in 2002. Barber was nominated for Folk Recording of the Year and Female Artist Recording of the Year at the 2005 East Coast Music Awards for her 2004 album, Oh Heart. She released her third album, For All Time, in 2006 and took home awards for Female Artist of the Year and Best Album of the Year. She was also nominated for a Juno (New Artist of the Year) in 2008.

Barber cleaned up at the 2009 ECMA awards in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, thanks to her romantic, retro-styled album Chances, released in 2008. She now lives in Vancouver but was based in Halifax for many years.
